The Zone Kids Ministry
Welcome to the Zone! Our mission is to serve by loving God (through worship and learning), loving others (witnessing and discipleship) and serving in love (through service work in the church and community).
About the Zone
The Zone exists to give children a complete worship experience. Your child is immediately welcomed into the group by being a part of a fun opening activity. They are drawn into an energetic and meaningful praise time. Children get to experience the Bible through high quality, animated video lessons straight from the Bible. They will see funny, modern-day skits to emphasize the Main Point of the lesson, and they will enjoy using these newly learned concepts during their small group time. These Bible-based concepts will stay in the children’s minds, allowing them to have a better understanding and closer relationship with Christ.
Parent & Child Dedication Ceremony – Sunday May 5
To participate in the ceremony, please complete and return the application form to the church office and e-mail a photo of your child to Lori Dunn by April 21.
Check-In/Check-Out
All children must be checked into the zone through the computerized check-in system located at the check-in room on the first floor of the Fellowship Hall Building. Only authorized persons will be allowed to check-out a child.
Kid Zone
Elementary kids meet in the Fellowship Hall, Kid Zone area during the 8:30 and 11:00 morning services.
Mini Zone
Preschoolers (ages 3 through Pre-K) have lots of fun as they all meet upstairs in the Fellowship Hall Building in Room U4 during the 8:30 and 11:00 morning services.
Lil Zone
Here our toddlers, ages 18 to 36 months, learn about God through play. Our loving teachers focus on the same Bible lesson for an entire month. This repetition of Bible learning allows your toddler to really learn the Bible lessons. Pagers are provided for parents upon sign-in of your child (secure, parent sign-in located in the Fellowship Hall, Check-In Room). Lil Zone meets in the lower level of the Auditorium in Room L5 during the 8:30 and 11:00 morning services.
Baby Zone
A safe, loving place to bring your newborn to 18-month-old. We’ll love ‘em while you worship. For parent’s convenience, we offer live televised worship services in our Nursery Room. Pagers are provided for all parents upon sign-in of your child (secure, parent sign-in located in the Fellowship Hall, Check-In Room). Baby Zone meets in the lower level of the Auditorium during the 8:30 and 11:00 morning services and during the Sunday School hour.
Wednesday Night J.A.M.
J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) meets during our scheduled Wednesday program dates from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Kids enjoy a break from their weekly routine to see friends, sing upbeat worship songs, act out a Bible lesson skit, play fun games and enjoy small group learning. Preschoolers get to play with Theo the puppet and meet upstairs in Room U4 and elementary kids meet in the Fellowship Hall Kid Zone area. Babies and toddler classes are located in the lower level of the Auditorium in the Nursery and Room L5.
