Gethsemane tithes 10% of the budget toward mission efforts; both stateside and internationally.
Stateside Mission Fields
The United States, our backyard, is filled with opportunities for our churches to meet the basic needs of the local community. Gethsemane believes in helping others and financially sponsors individuals/organizations through offerings and charitable giving. Because each one has a personal tie to this church, we encourage members to join the cause.
Global Mission Fields
Global missions are part of the commandment Jesus gave to go out into all the world to make disciples. Though we may not have ability to jet across the globe, we can financially support those who are called to a life of overseas service. Gethsemane also has personal ties with these overseas missionaries and encourages members to join in the cause.
