We have pastoral leadership that stands firmly on God's truths and does not shy away from preaching these truths to congregants, in love. We are at a pivotal time in American history where our culture, including many churches, have clearly fallen away from the things of God. It is so very important for Christ-followers to have discernment and awareness of this and for us to safeguard our minds in God's truths on the many social issues of the day, as they are rooted in and designed by Almightly God (life, male/femaie creation, marriage, parental authority, morality, etc). It requires great courage for Pastors to stand firm publicly in this day and age and Bill is faithful to this calling. For that I am extremely grateful to attend and support Gethsemane Church of Christ.

We love how God's word is preached and taught at Gethsemane Church of Christ. No watering down of God's word to pacify worldly views. They are our family in Christ and our friends. We love and support each other. God's presence can be felt in our church as we worship together singing beautiful songs that glorify Him such as our favorite "Goodness of God". We have wonderful Godly leaders and our minister, Bill Wines, has the biggest heart, is the humblest man we have ever known and his messages grow our faith each week. We are blessed.

We love Preacher Wines and his wife, Becky. We love the way Bill Wines brings to our lives the many stories of the Bible and the significance of each story as it strengthens our faith! He has a gift which keeps each of us in the congregation on the edge of our seats and usually surprises us wth a funny story to keep us on our toes!
As I reflect back on the "covid" pandemic, Preacher Wines and his staff did two services on Sunday plus a video service for those not able to attend services! That's three times the work for our church, but for the congregation, it was additional opportunities to hear God's word! A true blessing during a difficult time!
