As You Arrive...
Parking signs are visible in areas designated for guests and those who need closer parking to the building due to mobility hindrances and those with babies or small children.
General parking is available to the right and behind the church.
Building Entrances
Two front entrances are available; one enters at the Welcome Center and Gathering Area on the ground level floor. Light refreshments are served in this space between Sunday School and the Worship Service.
The other entrance is accessible by stairs leading to the foyer and sanctuary on the upper level. Greeters and hosts are there to welcome everyone and provide any assistance.
Regardless where you enter, there is an accessible elevator providing service for the lower level, the ground floor and the upper level.
Classrooms
The Children's wing hosts space for the nursery, toddlers and children's classrooms for those up to the 5th grade. Gethsemane takes the safety of your child seriously as parents are required to register each child and will receive a ticket to show upon return to take your child home.
The Youth (middle school and high school) meet in the Pavilion at the back of the church. It is a laid-back family room style environment to foster openness and comfort while learning God's Word.
The adult Sunday School classes meet on the lower level of the church, the space mainly under the sanctuary. There is a men's class, women's class and combined adult classes. Our teachers apply Bible principles to everyday living.
Worship in the Sanctuary
The 8:00 am worship involves the singing of traditional hymns. The 10:15 am worship involves the singing of both traditional hymns and contemporary songs with a worship band.
For now, several processes are followed for limited contact as with the handling of bulletins, the offering plate, and communion. The Tithes and Offerings box is located in the foyer to deposit monetary gifts. Bulletins and communion cups are within the foyer area to take as you enter the sanctuary. Christians join every first day of the week, following the example of the early church as described in Acts 20:7.
